If you’re like a lot of people these days you’ve marked July 16th on your calendar for the return of Game of Thrones. With just two seasons left fans are at a fever pitch wondering how the story will end. The Red Sox feel your pain. On July 18th, it’s time to visit Westeros Fenway.

Game of Thrones night wouldn’t be complete without an opponent from a frozen wasteland: the Toronto Blue Jays!
With their Canadian quirks selling milk in a bag and eating doughnuts (actually Tim Horton’s is just as awesome as it sounds) the Jays will face off against House Red Sox, surely the Starks at the rate players end up...on the disabled list. Actually, the Blue Jays might fit that aspect better but who’s counting? For all intents and purposes Chris Sale is the Young Wolf.
He may not be on the Red Sox anymore but the resemblance between Clay Buchholz and Theon Greyjoy is uncanny.

or maybe Michael Kopech is more to your liking...
Seriously though. @RedSox prospect @MichaelKopech5 was my favorite character in Game of Thrones. pic.twitter.com/Q2YIFfvPCy

MLB is taking this seriously. We’ve had Star Wars nights and dog nights and country music nights where people wear cowboy hats and now it’s time for a night that will celebrate winter, and hopefully mean that summer has finally arrived in Boston.
