Weather is a bitch. With rain in the forecast all night, the Red Sox and Yankees aren’t even going to attempt playing tonight’s game, postponing the contest four hours before first pitch. It’s probably a good idea, as the precipitation isn’t supposed to stop. The game will be rescheduled for the first half of a day-night doubleheader on July 16.
Presumably, Rick Porcello, who was supposed to get tonight’s start, will be pushed back by a day, as will Chris Sale and Drew Pomeranz.
Now, who do I talk to about getting the Celtics game pushed up to tonight so I have something to watch?
