The Red Sox are getting Jackie Bradley back tonight, but it came with a little bad news, too. To counteract his return to the active roster, Brock Holt has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with vertigo.
Bradley activated from the DL and the countermove is Brock Holt to the DL with vertigo.

This is one injury case that you don’t usually hear about, but it’s worth remembering that Holt has had concussion problems in the past. I am not a doctor, much less Holt’s doctor, but I would guess there would be some correlation between the two.
Obviously, the hope is that this will not be a long trip to the disabled list, but with head issues there is no guarantees. In the meantime, Marco Hernandez will take over as the utility infielder and Steve Selsky is more likely to get some outfield playing time.
