There hasn’t been a lot of great starting pitching for the Red Sox this year. Even reigning Cy Young Award winner Rick Porcello got rocked yesterday, but today things ought to be different, because Chris Sale is pitching, and Chris Sale rules.
Jake Odorizzi goes for the Rays, and while he has talent he also has some home run issues. Not much to note in the Sox’s lineup today otherwise. Here’s the damage:
