Red Sox vs Nationals lineup: The last preseason game, from the Naval Academy

This is it, folks. The last game of the preseason. We made it.

Today’s game takes place at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, and is at least theoretically open only to service members and their families, but we’ve seen how that can go wrong. The Red Sox are the “home” team, for what it’s worth. The game’s at 2:00 p.m. on ESPN, and features the same lineup that was scratched from yesterday:

This is the last day of darkness in a long, long time, friends. The dawn is coming. By this time tomorrow, it’ll all be real again. There might even be sunlight.
