Two games for the price of... well, two.

You know those Red Sox that are, like, double Red Sox? Those are the best, and we’ve got said split-squad action today, folks. Some of the Red Sox will take on the Rays at 1:05 (MLB.tv on the Rays feed) while the other half hosts the Phillies at the same time on NESN and WEEI. Let’s dig into it. First, here are the Sox who will make the trek for to Port Charlotte for the Tampa game, aka the B team:

  1. Rusney Castillo, CF
  2. Pablo Sandoval, 3B
  3. Chris Young, DH
  4. Josh Rutledge, 1B
  5. Marco Hernandez, 2B
  6. Blake Swihart, C
  7. Steve Selsky, RF
  8. Bryce Brentz, LF
  9. Deven Marrero, SS

SP: Shawn Haviland

Wolf. Jake Odorizzi pitched for the Rays. He’s pretty good. Speaking of pretty good, here’s the lineup for the Phillies game at JetBlue Park:

  1. Dustin Pedroia, 2B
  2. Andrew Benintendi, LF
  3. Mookie Betts, RF
  4. Hanley Ramirez, DH
  5. Mitch Moreland, 1B
  6. Xander Bogaerts, SS
  7. Jackie Bradley Jr., CF
  8. Sandy Leon, C
  9. Brock Holt, 3B, \o/

SP: Kyle Kendrick

That’s more like it. Alec Asher, who sounds like the big, bad frat boy in a nerdy college movie, starts for Philadelphia.

Go crazy in the comments, party people.
