Still have the best player in Grapefruit League history, tho.

It’s a light day in Red Sox Nation. A day after Dustin Pedroia raised his spring average to .500 and Pablo Sandoval just kept hitting, the Sox roll out a lineup heavy on second-teamers against the Jays, with a recovered Drew Pomeranz on the mound (1:07 p.m., televised on through the Jays feed). Here’s that with which we’re workin’:

  1. Brock Holt, SS, \o/
  2. Josh Rutledge, 2B
  3. Marco Hernandez, 3B
  4. Sam Travis, 1B
  5. Blake Swihart, DH
  6. Steve Selsky, RF
  7. Rusney Castillo, CF
  8. Bryce Brentz, LF
  9. Christian Vazquez, C

SP: Drew Pomeranz
