Red Sox vs. Blue Jays: Snowflakes the size of Doritos

One week until spring! Really.

Can Mr. Boomstick do it again?

The Red Sox will host the Jays at JetBlue Park today in the second half of a home-and-home after falling to Toronto yesterday 4-3, while here in the northeast Toronto is busy falling on us.

Mitch Moreland hit a homer yesterday and is in the lineup again for the 1:05 p.m. game, which will be broadcast on WEEI. Here’s the starting nine:

  1. Dustin Pedroia, 2B
  2. Pablo Sandoval, 3B
  3. Mookie Betts, RF
  4. Hanley Ramirez, DH
  5. Mitch Moreland, 1B
  6. Chris Young, LF
  7. Jackie Bradley Jr., CF
  8. Sandy Leon, C
  9. Marco Hernandez, SS

SP: Drew Pomeranz

Joseph Carlo “Joe” Biagini starts for the Jays, so let’s bake those-a-pizza-pies-and-watcha-the Soxa-win, no? Marrone! Uccelli. I miei figlia sono bella è pazza. Being a snow day, she’s also downstairs.

Anyhoo, get your pidgin Italian and/or game thoughts going in the comments while I invariably watch FROZEN, unless she wants to actually build a snowman, which, ugh.
