Pre-Season Sox Sporcle Quiz #7: Top 5 MVP/CY (Since 1967)

Some special things happened to the Red Sox in 1967. A certain player achieved the Batter's Triple-Crown and won the MVP award and a certain pitcher won the Cy Young. The team went on to win 92 games edging out both Minnesota and Detroit by one game to capture the AL Pennant and then were about one Bob Gibson shy of winning the World Series.

50 years later here we sit hoping for more of the same. We have a few MVP candidates including last year's 2nd place finalist, a few Cy Young candidates (2 of the top 3 have won Cy Youngs already and the third has finished in the top 6 for 5 years running) and the hope that we end up in the World Series (please not against St. Louis though.....)

The 7th installment of the Sprocle Quiz Challenge looks back at the Sox MVPs and CY Youngs of the past 49 years. Can you name all the players who have made it into the Top 5 for both of these awards since, and including 1967?

Give it a go and Happy Sporcling!
