The Red Sox continue their Grapefruit League grind on Monday, this time staying in Fort Myers to take on the visiting St. Louis Cardinals. Here is today’s lineup:

  1. Dustin Pedroia, 2B
  2. Xander Bogaerts, SS
  3. Mookie Betts, RF
  4. Hanley Ramirez, DH
  5. Mitch Moreland, 1B
  6. Chris Young, LF
  7. Pablo Sandoval, 3B
  8. Steve Selsky, CF
  9. Sandy Leon, C

SP: Brian Johnson

This is pretty close to a potential regular season lineup, albeit one with injuries to Andrew Benintendi and Jackie Bradley. Selsky is probably the least exciting player in the lineup, but he is on the 40-man and John Farrell didn’t hesitate this weekend to single Selsky out as a player who’s impressed the manager this spring. Johnson, meanwhile, is battling for position on the rotation depth chart, and will be making his second start of the spring.

Also of note: This will be Bogaerts’ last game with the team for a while. He’s leaving tomorrow to join Team Netherlands as they prepare for the World Baseball Classic.

First pitch will come at 1:05 PM ET. Unfortunately, there is no television broadcast today, but you can listen to the action on WEEI.
