The Red Sox just got done eliminating one rival from contention for the division. With a win tonight, it seems relatively safe to say they'd have done the same with another. Four down with ten to play would be pretty good in its own right. Six down, especially with a series against Toronto left? Good night.
Heck, they can even leave them fighting for their wild card lives. Make it seven straight wins and leave no question who the class of the East is.
