Game 147: Red Sox vs. Yankees

The Red Sox are in dire need of a win after yesterday's disappointing loss. Two nights in a row the offense has been shut down, and with the Blue Jays having knocked off the Angels, both Toronto and Baltimore are now within a single game of--

Oh, no, wait, the ninth inning happened, and we're back to two up on Baltimore and Toronto alike. First place is not on the line tonight. It is Boston's headed into the weekend, no matter what.

Still, we're in magic number territory, and the Sox have to take every chance they can get to chip away at that. No offense to Luis Cessa, but after Gausman and Tanaka, he certainly represents more...fertile ground for such an opportunity. Best to capitalize.
