Red Sox minor lines: Ockimey dodges the system-wide slump

Red Sox prospects aren't having a great time of things right now, but Josh Ockimey has managed to avoid that plague.

Pawtucket W 6-4 (5/31)

Deven Marrero: 1-3, 2B, BB, K

Henry Owens: 6 IP, 3 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 3 BB, 4 K
Noe Ramirez: 1 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 K
Kyle Martin: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 K

Henry Owens did manage to put together 10 consecutive outs to finish his outing, but as a total picture, it's just another Owens outing, and that's not a good thing this year.

Portland L 4-6 (5/31)

Andrew Benintendi: 1-5

Williams Jerez: 2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 K

Portland L 2-12 (6/1)

Andrew Benintendi: 0-4, K

Teddy Stankiewicz: 3.2 IP, 9 H, 8 R, 8 ER, 2 BB, 4 K, 2 HR
Luis Ysla: 1 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 1 K

Thus ends the Benintendi hot streak. It was...short.

Of the 27 earned runs Teddy Stankiewicz has surrendered, 16 have come in two outings. I'll always take a prospect who has occasional implosions over one that is consistently mediocre.

Salem L 3-6 (6/1)

Yoan Moncada: 0-5, K, E
Mauricio Dubon: 0-3, BB, K
Nick Longhi: 2-4
Rafael Devers: 1-4, 2B, K, E
Joseph Monge: 0-3, BB, K

Trey Ball: 5 IP, 7 H, 5 R, 2 ER, 4 BB, 0 K

Make Trey Ball a position player, please. This isn't working. This hasn't been working. This isn't going to work. May as well roll them dice.

Greenville W 11-3 (5/31)

Josh Ockimey: 3-4, BB
Austin Rei: 1-4
Luis Alexander Basabe: 1-4, BB, 3 K

Marc Brakeman: 6 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 9 K
Austin Glorius: 2 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 2 K

Greenville L 5-7 (6/1)

Josh Ockimey: 2-3, BB, K, SB
Luis Alexander Basabe: 1-2, HR, BB, 2 A

Jake Cosart: 2 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 1 K

Josh Ockimey is the one player who seems to be immune to whatever funk is running through the system right now, though that's probably in no small part due to the fact that he hasn't been bumped up to Salem yet. Even if it means another prospect slumping, would like to see the Sox challenge him.
