Red Sox minor lines: Andrew Benintendi solving Double-A

It took him a few weeks, but Andrew Benintendi is looking like his old self again.

Pawtucket L 2-6

Roman Mendez: 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 K

Pawtucket is...rather dire right now.

Portland W 5-4 (In 10)

Andrew Benintendi: 2-4, HR, BB

Teddy Stankiewicz: 6 IP, 8 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 3 K, 1 HR
Williams Jerez: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 2 K

Portland is not, because Andrew Benintendi is hitting again! He's 7-for-16 over the last four games with two homers. You had your two weeks, Double-A pitchers. Now Benintendi will have his two months.

Salem W 7-1 (6/13)

Yoan Moncada: 2-3, 2 2B, 2 BB
Mauricio Dubon: 2-4, BB
Rafael Devers: 1-5
Nick Longhi: 0-4, 2 K
Joseph Monge: 2-3, BB, K

Salem L 4-11 (6/14)

Joseph Monge: 2-5, 2 K
Mauricio Dubon: 1-4, BB
Nick Longhi: 2-5, K

Travis Lakins: 4.1 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 4 BB, 4 K
Yankory Pimentel: 2 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 0 BB, 0 K

So...those are doubles 10 and 11 for Yoan Moncada in June. And then he didn't play on Tuesday. Can it be? Could he be headed north?

Might just be a day off. Probably is. But I can hope? We can all hope.

Greenville W 4-3 (6/13)

Michael Chavis: 1-3, BB
Josh Ockimey: 2-3, 2B, BB, K
Kyri Washington: 3-4, HR
Austin Rei: 0-4

Jake Cosart: 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 3 K

Greenville W 9-8 (6/14)

Josh Ockimey: 1-3, 2 BB, 2 K, SB
Kyri Washington: 0-2, 3 BB, K
Luis Alexander Basabe: 0-2, 3 BB, 2 K, SB

Austin Glorius: 2 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 3 BB, 3 K, 1 HR

Typical Greenville game. A whole bunch of walks and wait whaaaat?! Kyri Washington had five walks before this game on the entire damn season! Was the strike zone stamp-sized?

However it happened, it leaves him with an .881 OPS now
