Red Sox vs. Yankees lineup: Back to the grind

It's hard to get back to work so soon after Friday's injustice. But the Sox don't have much choice.

Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

As they say, there's always tomorrow. So it is that the Red Sox will attempt to get back in the win column barely half a day after Ron Kulpa robbed them in the Bronx.

Lineup

BOSTON RED SOX NEW YORK YANKEES
Mookie Betts, RF TBA
Dustin Pedroia, 2B
Xander Bogaerts, SS
David Ortiz, DH
Hanley Ramirez, 1B
Travis Shaw, 3B
Brock Holt, LF
Jackie Bradley Jr., CF
Christian Vazquez, C
Starting Pitcher -- David Price

You know what really sucks about a game like last night's? For all that the Red Sox would love to get a win today, there's just no real opportunity for them to get revenge. Ron Kulpa isn't their opponent, the Yankees are. And for all that I saw people talking about this giving some spice to the rivalry...does it? The only Yankee I'm pissed at today is Andrew Miller, and that's because he made some pretty obnoxious post-game comments for a guy who just had the win handed to him.

All the rest of them? Meh. They're the Yankees, but that only goes so far.

Oh well. There really is nothing for it but to win what games are left to them of this series. And they should...unless David Price is going to keep the early-season terror going.

First pitch is at 1:05 p.m. ET with broadcasts on NESN and WEEI.
