Red Sox minor lines: Andrew Benintendi is back

It took him about a week to really get going, but it seems like Boston's top outfield prospect is rolling once more.

Pawtucket L 2-8

Rusney Castillo: 0-4
Sam Travis: 0-1
Deven Marrero: 1-4, 2 K

Anthony Varvaro: 1.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 4 K

That one at-bat for Sam Travis is, unfortunately, due to a knee-injury that he suffered during a run-down. We'll hope this isn't anything long term, but never good news.

Portland L 3-6

Andrew Benintendi: 2-4, 3B

And there's the extra-base power that was missing. He's still rocking just a .617 OPS in Portland, but that seems to be on the way up in a hurry.

Salem W 2-1

Yoan Moncada: 1-3, 2B, BB, K, SB
Nick Longhi: 0-4, K
Rafael Devers: 1-4, K

Yankory Pimentel: 3 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 4 K

Pimentel's outings have been kind of weird. He's allowed 15 walks in just 12 games which, y'know, not great. But 13 of those walks are restricted to four different multi-walk games. And on the other hand, there's performances like this.In fact, to separate those two sets of games out:

10 IP, 4 H, 4 ER, 13 BB, 4 K

16 IP, 7 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 17 K

Relievers tend to be a bit up-and-down, I'll grant you. But this is a little extreme. And if anything, encouraging. Sure, consistency isn't what you want a reliever to be struggling with. But at least the good days are exceedingly good.

Greenville W 10-2

Josh Ockimey: 1-4, BB, 2 K
Luis Alexander Basabe: 1-5, K
