Hanley Rmairez is back in the lineup, while Jackie Bradley Jr. is climbing the ranks Tuesday as the Red Sox try to make it two-for-two in Atlanta.
David Price has been disappointing thus far, no doubt, but between peripherals and the early date, there hasn't been any outright panic just yet.
Expect that to change if he can't lock this game down. Facing this Braves lineup...I won't say one run should ever be enough. But the Red Sox shouldn't have to do that much work against Matt Wisler behind him. And if they do, the goal for Price should be to stick in long enough that it can be a Matt Barnes, Tommy Layne kind of night for the bullpen.
As for the batting order...well, it's nice to see Bradley doing something at the plate. His production lately has been more timely than consistent, while Holt has kind conistent, but unimpressive. He's actually still reached base in every game this season, even if his torrid pace has slowed since the opening days. In the end, it's a bit of an odd choice given both players' season numbers, but if we're just going by what they've done lately, they're kind of interchangeable.
First pitch is at 7:10 p.m. ET with broadcasts on NESN and WEEI.
