ALDS Game 3 lineups: If weather permits (but it probably won’t)

We have lineups for what could be the Red Sox’ final game of the season...if, in fact, it ends up getting played. Which it probably won’t be, at least for today.

Lineup

BOSTON RED SOX CLEVELAND INDIANS
Dustin Pedroia, 2B Carlos Santana, DH
Brock Holt, 3B Jason Kipnis, 2B
Mookie Betts, RF Francisco Lindor, SS
David Ortiz, DH Mike Napoli, 1B
Hanley Ramirez, 1B Jose Ramirez, 3B
Xander Bogaerts, SS Lonnie Chisenhall, RF
Andrew Benintendi, LF Coco Crisp, LF
Sandy Leon, C Tyler Naquin, CF
Jackie Bradley Jr., CF Roberto Perez, C
SP - Clay Buchholz SP - Josh Tomlin

It’s not surprising to see much the same out of the Red Sox given that nobody at all seemed really capable of getting to Kluber. They simply have to do better if they’re going to stay alive to see a Game 4. When adding zeroes, it really doesn’t matter what order they come in.

Their chance, however, is not terribly likely to come today. It’s been a rainy morning in Boston, and while the game hasn’t been called off or delayed or anything like that just yet, the teams have met with the league and word is that this one isn’t terribly likely to get played.

If it does, the first pitch will come at 4:08, with broadcasts on TBS and WEEI.
