Rich Hill is two starts and twenty strikeouts into his season, with likely one more outing to go after this one. When Hill quickly gave up three runs in the second last time around, it seemed like he was ready to fall right on back to Earth, but he finished with five more scoreless innings after that, holding on long enough for the Red Sox to get him the W.
Will it continue tonight? Logic says no, at least not to this degree, but the magic of Rich Hill doesn't much care for logic.
First pitch is at 7:10 p.m. ET with broadcasts on NESN and WEEI.
