There's good news, friends, but it's not in the lineup. Not yet, at least.
I know (almost) everyone is thoroughly depressed about Don Orsillo's impending departure, and that another game with a super-hot player like Rusney Castillo benched because, well, veteran preference and stubbornness and all those other things does not help, but hurt.
But there is news! There is reason to hope! My friends, there are pictures of Hanley Ramirez playing first base!

It's like the sight of a distant ship to a stranded sailor. Perhaps something will come of this, perhaps the Red Sox are just taunting us. But it's something, and it's the first something we've had in about a month now in this saga, excepting the arrival of Dave Dombrowski.
