With Brock Holt out of the lineup, Shane Victorino will find himself batting awfully high Monday night as the Red Sox send Joe Kelly to the mound against the White Sox.

Yes, improbably enough, Joe Kelly is still a member of this rotation four months into the season. Even with a 5.74 ERA, even with three more homers last time out, even with everything in the world suggesting he is not a successful starter waiting to happen, Joe Kelly is still starting while Pawtucket features multiple starters who might just contribute to 2016 if they had, say two months of success at the major league level to give the Red Sox the requisite trust in them.
Oh well. Still better than Justin Masterson.
First pitch is at 7:10 p.m. ET with broadcasts on NESN and WEEI.
