Game 50: Red Sox vs. Rangers

New, comments

Well, here we are at Game 50. On the one hand that means the Red Sox are rapildy approaching the point of screwing up a full third of their season. On the other, it means May is just about done and maybe, just maybe that means something? Because...well, I don't know. There's no reason why it should. But we can hope?

No Xander tonight, on account of that whole hand/wrist/forearm plunking that took place on Thursday. Not the best news, obviously, but given that he played yesterday, probably also not the worst of signs. Meanwhile, Ortiz is back and batting third after a brief stay on the "figuring things out" list.
