Sox vs. Jays lineups: Happy Mother's Day!

New, comments

Can the Sox open this brave new Craig-free era with a win and avoid a sweep against the Jays?

It has been a very busy 18 hours or so for the Red Sox since the end of yesterday's game, having optioned Allen Craig and Robbie Ross in favor of Jackie Bradley, Jr. and Steven Wright. Bradley, Jr. will see the lineup, while Wright will presumably be in the bullpen for the time being.

However, the main order of business for the day is to win against the Jays and avoid a series sweep.

Here are your lineups:

Today's Lineups

BOSTON RED SOX TORONTO BLUE JAYS
Mookie Betts - CF Devon Travis - 2B
Dustin Pedroia - 2B Josh Donaldson - 3B
David Ortiz - DH Jose Bautista - DH
Hanley Ramirez - LF Edwin Encarnacion - 1B
Pablo Sandoval - 3B Kevin Pillar - CF
Mike Napoli - 1B Chris Colabello - LF
Xander Bogaerts - SS Ezequiel Carrera - RF
Jackie Bradley - RF Josh Thole - C
Sandy Leon - C Ryan Goins - SS
Clay Buchholz - RHP R.A. Dickey - RHP

Will we see a round of "Dueling Knuckleballers" today, with R. A. Dickey on the mound for the Jays? Time will tell. The game starts at 1:07 Eastern.

GO SOX!
