Apparently, Patriots' Day also means rain this year. The tarp is on the field, and with first pitch just a couple hours a way, the forecast looks bleak. Patriots' Day baseball with the Marathon runners coming into Kenmore in the background is a tradition, and it would be a shame to see it lost to weather, but the rain doesn't stand on tradition.
First pitch, if we have one, is scheduled for 11:05 p.m. with broadcasts on NESN, the MLB Network, and WEEI. But don't count on it.
