Red Sox minor lines: Henry Owens loses control

It's been a wild start to the season for Henry Owens. And not in a good way.

Pawtucket W 6-4

Jackie Bradley Jr.: 0-5, K
Jemile Weeks: 1-2, BB, K
Bryce Brentz: 2-4, HR, K
Blake Swihart: 2-4, K
Deven Marrero: 0-3, SB
Sean Coyle: 1-4, HR, K

Henry Owens: 4.2 IP, 3 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 6 BB, 4 K, 1 HR

Oh dear, Henry Owens. Talk about a disaster inning. Walk, walk, walk, grand slam, walk, and out of the game in the fifth. That's already 10 free passes on the season in 11 innings for Owens. Control has always been his greatest weakness, but this is taking it to a ridiculous extreme.

Portland L 0-7

Carlos Asuaje: 1-4
Keury De La Cruz: 0-3, BB, K, CS

Salem W 6-2

Manuel Margot: 1-5, 3B, E
Sam Travis: 1-3, 2B, BB, 2 K
Wendell Rijo: 2-4, 2B, K

Trey Ball: 6 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 5 K

Ah, so that's where Owens' powers went. Trey Ball has practiced some sort of nefarious magic and stolen them. Burn the witch! Burn him!
