July 2 was an eventful day for the Red Sox. They locked up a couple of high-profile international free agents on the first day of the new signing period, and NESN announcer Jerry Remy lost a tooth during that evening's game. Longtime play-by-play announcer Don Orsillo wanted to pop it back in, and he attempted to. It was hilarious at the time, but now it's funny all over again, as Orsillo received an honorary doctorate for his summer dentistry efforts.
Tonight I receive an honorary doctorate from NE YankeeDental for emergency surgery on Jerry. So now am I Dr. Orsillo? pic.twitter.com/wzT3sMhIoz

Let's show the proper respect to Doc Orsillo -- we're calling him that from now on, yeah? -- and relive the entire toothy evening.
The Sox are going to be better in 2015, but this right here is a reminder that they're still worth watching even if they're crummy.
