Longtime minor-league infielder Brock Holt finally stuck in the majors in 2014, and had a solid season at the plate while bouncing all over the diamond to wherever the Red Sox needed him to fill in the most. In spite of this, he's not quite famous in his native Texas, as he explained to reporters during the conference portion of the Boston BBWAA dinner.
Brock Holt said no one recognizes him in Texas despite his 2014 success: "That's the advantage when you're an average-looking white guy."

It's okay, Brock. We appreciate you. Really, we do!
I made this last year for fun during peak Brock Holt Appreciation until I realized MLB would make me take it down once they noticed it. It's lost to the world either way, though, so enjoy it while you can. I'm sure a few of you will understand the connection without me having to explain it.
