Red Sox minor lines: Mookie gonna Mookie

Mookie Betts isn't letting his demotion get him down.

Pawtucket W 9-3

Mookie Betts: 2-5, 3B, K
Will Middlebrooks: 2-5
Travis Shaw: 1-3, 2 BB
Garin Cecchini: 0-4, BB
Alex Hassan: 1-4

Matt Barnes: 6.1 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 3 BB, 2 K

Mookie's major league stay didn't last all that long, but the old post-promotion slump apparently lasted all of one 0-for-4 game, with this marking his second straight multi-hit performance.

Portland W 4-3

Blake Swihart: 2-5, 2 K
Sean Coyle: 1-3, BB
Michael Almanzar: 1-4, 2B, K

Speaking of short-lived slumps, Swihart has pushed his lull well into the distance, holding a .962 OPS over his last ten games. Coyle still has a ways to go to match him, but he's reached base six times in his last 13 plate appearances.

Salem W 10-0

Carlos Asuaje: 2-4, HR, BB, K

Pat Light: 6 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 5 K

There's the Carlos Asuaje who was tearing up Greenville! And the Pat Light who had been on quite the roll before his bad outing last week, to boot.

Lowell L 5-7

Danny Mars: 1-5, 2B
Sam Travis: 1-4, K

DSL Red Sox W 3-2

Luis Alexander Basabe: 2-4, 2B, CS

Why, yes, the GCL was rained out. Again.
