With the weather doing anything but permitting, the Red Sox farm system only managed to get two full games in Wednesday. And one of those was a DSL game. So...shortest minor lines ever time!
Greenville W 6-3
Forrestt Allday: 1-3, BB
Tzu-Wei Lin: 1-4, 2B
Manuel Margot: 0-3, BB
Teddy Stankiewicz: 7 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 6 K
11 strikeouts and one walk for Teddy Stankiewicz over his last two games. His last one featured five runs, too, but all told he seems to be on the rise after a surprisingly rough month of April.
DSL Red Sox W 9-1
Rafael Devers: 2-4
Pretty impossible to find any faults with Devers so far this season. .447/.542/.711, eight walks to six strikeouts, two stolen bases in two chances. Granted, it's only what a big-bonus signing like Devers should be doing when pitted against other players his age--these guys are expected to stand out in a big way from the 16 and 17-year-olds of the world--but it's not like he could be doing much better.
