Game 9: Red Sox vs. Rangers

After last night, all we should really be asking for is just a competition. And not in the "well you got within three runs with two outs in the ninth" sense of things. That doesn't count.

Still, just being close isn't going to be enough. The Red Sox are 3-5, and 3-6 is...not where they want to be, simply put. 4-5 isn't either, for that matter, but this is very much a case of beggars and choosers.

So let's take our less-bad outcome, escape with a series win, and head to New York with at least some semblance of momentum.
