It's been a rough weekend, but there's nothing for it except to move on. The Rangers are in town, and the Red Sox are staring one ugly record in the face if they can't get moving in the right direction in a hurry.
For the moment, it's just a rough start. The 2007, 2008, and 2009 Red Sox all started out with losing records, if not all of them made it to 2-4, and while only the 2007 team made its way to the World Series, they all made the playoffs, which is what success really comes down to in the end.
2-4? No big deal. 2-5? Sketchy. 2-7? Panic time.
So let's go ahead and make it 3-4.
