David Ortiz and Shane Victorino are back, leaving Boston's lineup looking quite a bit better.

The Red Sox will have David Ortiz and Shane Victorino back in the lineup Tuesday night as they take on Erik Bedard and the Tampa Bay Rays.

Today's Lineups

TAMPA BAY RAYS BOSTON RED SOX
Ben Zobrist - 2B Dustin Pedroia - 2B
Desmond Jennings - CF Shane Victorino - RF
Matt Joyce - LF David Ortiz - DH
Evan Longoria - 3B Mike Napoli - 1B
James Loney - 1B Jonny Gomes - LF
Wil Myers - RF Xander Bogaerts - SS
David DeJesus - DH A.J. Pierzynski - C
Yunel Escobar - SS Will Middlebrooks - 3B
Ryan Hanigan - C Jackie Bradley - CF
Erik Bedard - LHP John Lackey - RHP

After the lineup we saw on Sunday, just about any starting nine would look pretty nice in comparison. But this group seems actually good in both the names involved and the order they've been put in. Maybe David Ross should be starting against the southpaw, but all told this is about right.

With a strong lineup and John Lackey on the mound, this game should favor the Red Sox. But seemingly this year more than any other being favored on paper hasn't meant much when it's come to actually winning. The Sox can ill afford to lose many more of these games, tonight or in the weeks to come.

First pitch is at 7:10 p.m. with broadcasts on NESN, WEEI, and the MLB Network.
