Happy Patriots Day, all. It hasn't been that long since the Red Sox walked off against the Orioles last night, but they're back for more with the year's only true morning baseball game.
.500 is in reach today. That's seems like a low bar to set, but the Red Sox haven't been there since they were 2-2, and every great team has to start the year as an average team. If it turns out that the 2014 Red Sox are a great team did that for 20 games rather than four, well, that only matters for purposes of narrative.
That's all up in the air, though. And if they can't even make it to being average, it's ridiculous to talk about being great. Let's get to 10-10 first.
