Daily Red Sox Links: Sam Kennedy, Joel Hanrahan, Xander Bogaerts

Today's links look at the feelings of the front office on the season so far, the contributions of the bullpen (and who may be joining it) and why Xander Bogaerts deleted his Twitter account.

Even before the win against Chris Sale and the White Sox, the Red Sox front office wasn't particularly worried about the season so far from owner John Henry and COO Sam Kennedy on down. (Jerry Spar; WEEI)

Maybe that's because -- despite injuries to key contributors -- the Boston bullpen has continued to be a strength for the team even in the face of early struggles everywhere else. (Tim Britton; Providence Journal)

However, because you can never have too many pitchers, the Sox are in pursuit of former Sox reliever Joel Hanrahan as he returns from Tommy John surgery. (Jon Heyman; CBS Sports)

Which is good, because the Sox are one of the many teams slumping at the plate so far this season, so they need all the help they can get. (Ben Shapiro, Masslive.com)

Especially considering the Sox have only about 50 games to get their act together, according to those nerds at FiveThiryEight. (Neil Paine; FiveThirtyEight)

So just to be on the safe side, the team is "considering all options", especially with the imminent return of Shane Victorino necessitating roster moves. (Scott Lauber; Boston Herald)

And speaking of "the safe side", Xander Bogaerts has learned his first big league lesson about Twitter. (John Tomase; Boston Herald)
