Red Sox vs. Orioles lineups: Starters sparse as Sox split squad

There are few big names for the road half of Boston's unusual doubleheader.

It's an odd sort of doubleheader for the Red Sox and Orioles Saturday, as the two teams will play one in each club's park. First up for the Red Sox: the road half of things.

Boston Red Sox (2-5-1)

  1. Jackie Bradley Jr., CF
  2. Deven Marrero, SS
  3. Mike Carp, 1B
  4. Will Middlebrooks, 3B
  5. Travis Shaw, DH
  6. Ryan Lavarnway, C
  7. Bryce Brentz, RF
  8. Brock Holt, 2B
  9. Henry Ramos, LF
Starting Pitcher -- Henry Owens

Baltimore Orioles (5-2)
  1. Nick Markakis, RF
  2. JJ Hardy, SS
  3. Chris Davis, 1B
  4. Adam Jones, CF
  5. Nelson Cruz, LF
  6. Delmon Young, DH
  7. Matt Wieters, C
  8. Alex Gonzalez, SS
  9. Jonathan Schoop, 2B
Starting Pitcher -- Bud Norris

It's perhaps worth noting that this is the sort of lineups the Marlins should have expected to visit them a couple days back. And it is perhaps worth noting that anybody disappointed by the lineup that actually showed up would almost certainly be disappointed by this lineup as well.

Just saying.

First pitch is at 1:05 p.m. EST with NESN providing the television broadcast.
