John Farrell has another new lineup to throw at the wall.

Why, John, why do you torment us so?

It's another day of spring training for the Boston Red Sox which, sure enough, means an entirely new batting order!

  3. Dustin Pedroia, 2B
  4. David Ortiz, DH
  5. Mike Napoli, 1B
  6. Xander Bogaerts, SS
  7. A.J. Pierzynski, C
  8. Will Middlebrooks, 3B
  9. Jackie Bradley Jr., CF

Pittsburgh Pirates (10-7)

Starting PItcher -- Wandy Rodriguez

At this point the only thing that's becoming clear is that we'll know John Farrell's Opening Day lineup on, well, Opening Day. So far, he's seemingly managed a new permutation ever time. And while he won't get to all 726,485,760 possible variations (using the 14 position players who could realistically break camp with the team), he's going to hit just as many of them as he can!

And yes, he does it to mess with you. Specifically you.

First pitch is at 7:05 p.m., with NESN and WEEI covering the action.
