I don't make GIFs of every spring training home run. That would be silly and a waste of our time! Sometimes, though, a home run merits GIF action, such as any time Mike Napoli smashes one completely out of the park he is in, and does so courtesy his hilarious beer-league softball swing.
That pitch isn't a bad one, as it's low and inside to the point the catcher has his glove hovering directly over the ground. That doesn't stop Napoli from the most Napoli of swings, though, wherein he drops and just uppercuts a baseball until it is good and dead. It goes up and over the (Jet)Blue Monster, and some random passerby or exercising Red Sox prospect now has a souvenir.
It's also good to see that Mike Napoli isn't going to get fancy and button up just because it's St. Patrick's Day. Granted, we should probably just be happy he showed up on St. Patrick's Day wearing a shirt at all.
