Grady Sizemore crashed into a wall and didn't explode into pieces

His knees are still attached. It's a St. Patrick's Day miracle!

David Manning-USA TODAY Sports

Red Sox outfielder Grady Sizemore has thus far passed the tests thrown at him. He hasn't missed time with injury this spring, he hasn't suffered physically after back-to-back games, and so on. What he had not done entering Monday's St. Patrick's Day game against the Cardinals was crash into a wall and live to tell about it.

Oh, look.

Or if you're into instant instant replays:

Fast-grady-smash

Sizemore smashes into the wall in center in the top of the first inning, and not only did he jog off of the field casually after as if nothing happened, but he led off the bottom of the inning with a well-struck liner to left that was snared by Jon Jay on a sliding grab.

We're obviously joking when we say we're glad Grady Sizemore didn't explode into a 1,000 tiny Sizemores following his collision with the wall, but at the same time, given Grady's track record over the last three years and outfield walls' habit of claiming a victims, this is cause for celebration.
