Who wants to see David Ortiz being fitted for a World Series ring?

Last year the Red Sox were champions, and now they're defending champions. Enjoy every moment of it.

What, did you think that the Red Sox being World Series champions was a thing that was going to end with the calendar flipping over to 2014? The exact opposite is happening: the 2014 season is an entire year where we get to appreciate the reigning and defending World Series champs.

Hey, while we're on the subject, here's Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz being fitted for his third World Series championship ring:

You would think, given Ortiz's familiarity with World Series bling, that they would have his ring size on file by this point. We're forgetting, though, that stating Ortiz has aged gracefully would be doing a disservice to his hard work at staying fit and trim. Maybe his ring size slimmed a bit with the rest of him!
