It's finally here. Game 162. The end of the regular season.
It's been a great ride. But after so long I, for one, am ready to move on to bigger and better things. At least 19 teams will see 2013 come to an end tonight. We are lucky enough to be cheering for one of the others, and even better, to be cheering for one of the teams that does not have 161 games worth of struggle coming down to a win-or-go-home scenario in game 162.
Those scenarios certainly are out there, though. Tampa Bay has already jumped out to a big lead, putting the onus on Texas to stay alive with a win over Los Angeles. If they pull that off, though, and Cleveland falls to Minnesota...well, the doomsday three-way-tie scenario will be upon us. And who's not up for a little chaos for our potential opponents?
As for us, we can just sit back and watch.
