Game 116: Red Sox vs. Astros

Maybe it's because of all the Hellickson grief, but whenever I see a pitcher with good results and inferior peripherals, I want the Red Sox to be the ones to bring them to Earth.

Jarred Cosart is an extreme example of this, particularly when you add in that the defense behind him is clearly not the cause for his low BABIP. Add in that he throws fastballs, which the Red Sox are particularly good at hitting, and I'm seriously hoping for an egg-meets-brick-wall situation here.

But no matter who's pitching, what this is really about is not losing a series to the Astros.

With that in mind...

Go Sox!
