Starting Pitcher -- Patrick Corbin
Unfortunately for Peavy, he's got some tough competition in Corbin who's in the midst of quite the breakout season. Corbin's ERA--the third lowest in the league--isn't quite backed up by his peripherals in the same way, say, a Felix Hernandez or Matt Harvey's is, but there's no denying he's a scary opponent to face.
But the Red Sox are scoring runs right now, and if all the Red Sox need from Peavy is to be solid where Lester was just plain bad last night, then Peavy should hopefully be able to come through.
