The Red Sox haven't done much for John Lackey of late. So the organization has decided to take a new approach:
John Farrell, master strategist, told his team that "some guy from AAA" would be starting today, and gave John Lackey a fake mustache/beard.

Disguised Lackey introducing himself to teammates as Jean-Lacke Pitchard in a bad french accent.

Uh oh. John Lackey lost his fake beard/mustache. Doesn't seem to realize it since he's keeping up the french accent.

David Ortiz just asked "Jean-Lacke" about "his hometown in France."

After Lackey went on at length about the rolling hills and "le goat farmes," Breslow asks Lackey if he's ever met "King Napoleon the tenth"

Jig's up. WMB couldn't stop laughing, Lackey realized disguise is gone. "Real funny guys! Wouldn't have to do this if you scored some runs!"

Oh well. It was a nice try.
Go Sox!
