It's certainly a pretty good looking lineup, but unfortunately that doesn't matter tonight. After all, John Lackey is on the mound, capping the Red Sox' potential for runs at, oh, two? Three?
Does it make any sense? No, not logically, but at this point I think it's time to accept that John Lackey included a pretty unfortunate provision in that dark deal he made to have one of the best years of his career after just about everyone had written him off as a loss.
