Red Sox vs. Rays lineups: Right-handers aplenty against David Price

The Red Sox are going right-handed heavy in an attempt to solve David Price.

The Red Sox will turn to their right-handed hitters to do something, anything against David Price as the Red Sox and Rays reconvene to finish their series in Fenway Park.

  5. Mike Napoli, 1B
  6. Jonny Gomes, LF
  7. Ryan Lavarnway, C
  8. Stephen Drew, SS
  9. Brandon Snyder, 3B

Tampa Bay Rays (62-43)

  4. Wil Myers, RF
  5. Luke Scott, DH

Starting Pitcher -- David Price

As good as Felix Doubront has been, at the end of the day it's hard to imagine that this comes down to much more than David Price's performance, so dominant was he in his last outing. If he's off from that incredibly high level of performance, then the Red Sox have a chance, but if not, it's hard to imagine that Ryan Lavarnway and Brandon Snyder are going to make a huge difference.
