Starting Pitcher -- Chris Tillman
With the Rays gone the AL East lead no longer hangs completely in the balance of the game they play tonight, but frankly that doesn't turn down the pressure all that much. Hopefully the Yankees can give us a little breathing room (dirty though it may make us feel to hope for a New York win), but if the Red Sox don't win these games there's every likelihood they'll be looking up at the Rays when the night is over.
The good news is that it's still John Lackey's turn to get the job done and hold that lead. The bad news is that the Orioles have had Boston's number for quite a while now, and Chris Tillman has contributed to that this year. Tonight will hopefully be different, but if not, Lackey is going to need to come up big.
