While the Red Sox were held scoreless last night, there's not much chance of a repeat performance from the Rays. Roberto Hernandez, as he is now known, has only once kept the opposing team off the board, and has allowed three-or-more runs in 14 of his 18 starts this season.
Of course, a three-run outing is better than what we've come to expect from Jon Lester of late. Two of his last three outings headed into the All-Star Break at least showed some promise, but until he actually performs in the second half, there's going to be some serious worry before any of his starts. That's especially true tonight, with the division lead on the line.
