Pawtucket W 9-7
Jackie Bradley Jr.: 0-4, BB, 2 K
Will Middlebrooks: 3-5, 2B, K
Xander Bogaerts: 0-4, BB, 2 K
Jeremy Hazelbaker: 0-4, K
Rubby De La Rosa: 3.1 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 5 BB, 1 K
Clayton Mortensen: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 1 K
If the Red Sox were counting on Rubby De La Rosa for late-season help, well, they might want to re-evaluate their expectations after his last 11 innings of work. Allowing 15 runs in that period, Rubby may well be suffering from some mid-season fatigue after a season lost to injury, It tracks well enough logically, and would explain a sudden, sharp dropoff after an extended period of dominance.
Portland L 3-4
Christian Vazquez: 1-3
Garin Cecchini: 0-4, K
Michael Almanzar: 2-4, 2B, SB
Travis Shaw: 1-4, HR, K
Anthony Ranaudo: 6.1 IP, 9 H, 4 R, 3 BB, 4 K, 1 HR
Noe Ramirez: 2.2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 4 K
The same can be said of Anthony Ranaudo, who finds himself in similar circumstances.
Salem L 8-9 (In 10)
Henry Ramos: 1-3, 2 BB, K, SB
Deven Marrero: 0-4, BB, 2 K
Keury De La Cruz: 3-5, HR, SB
Blake Swihart: 1-4, BB, K
Mookie Betts: 1-4
Cody Koback: 1-5, 2 K
Keury works on the old trade value, but the dropoff in numbers from last year is still quite noticeable to any shopper.
Greenville W 6-0
Jose Vinicio: 2-4, SB
Kendrick Perkins: 0-4
Lowell L 2-4
Tzu-Wei Lin: 1-5, 2B, 2 K
Manuel Margot: 0-5, K
Forrestt Allday: 1-4

Pawtucket W 9-6
Jackie Bradley Jr.: 3-6, 2B, 3B, HR, K
Will Middlebrooks: 0-5, 2 K
Jeremy Hazelbaker: 2-5, K
Xander Bogaerts: 1-5, 2B, K
Jackie Bradley hasn't had a long enough stint in the majors since April to really get his sea legs and show whether or not there's been any significant improvement over the intervening months. With Shane Victorino struggling to stay healthy, though, chances are he's just one DL trip away from getting that opportunity.
Portland W 5-1
Christian Vazquez: 1-4
Garin Cecchini: 1-4, 2B, K
Michael Almanzar: 0-3, BB, K
Travis Shaw: 0-4, K
Matt Barnes: 7 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 10 K
Hey, who found Matt Barnes? In the midst of a season that has left him struggling to record outs, it's nice to have a reminder that, yes, this guy is really talented.
Salem W 9-0
Henry Ramos: 1-4, HR, K
Deven Marrero: 0-5, 3 K
Keury De La Cruz: 1-4, BB
Blake Swihart: 2-4, 2B
Mookie Betts: 2-4, 3B, HR
Cody Koback: 1-3, BB, K
We haven't seen the walks yet from Mookie Betts in High-A, but so far that's because he's just swinging the bat well. With just two strikeouts and one base on balls in some 40 plate appearances, Mookie's homer here is just his fourth true outcome since the promotion.
Greenville L 1-4
Jose Vincio: 0-4, 3 K
Kendrick Perkins: 0-4, 3 K
Francellis Montas: 7 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 0 BB, 5 K
Francellis Montas in July: 21 IP, 21 H, 8 R, 6 ER, 6 BB, 21 K, 1 HR
Improvement after a really ugly June and on a bit of a disappointing season in general. Still, at 20-years-old, he's got time to get it together by non-Xander standards, and a 91:28 K:BB suggests there might be something of the Owens about him.
Lowell W 6-2
Forrestt Allday: 1-2, 3 BB, SB, POCS
Tzu-Wei Lin: 2-3, 2B, 2 BB, K, SB
Williams Jerez: 1-4
Ty Buttrey: 4 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 4 K
Ty Buttrey's first outing make his numbers look a little wonky, but right now he's the great hope for 2012's long run of right-handed pitching picks. In the 25 innings since that first game, Buttrey has allowed just three runs, striking out 14 and walking six.
GCL Red Sox W 3-2 (In 10)
Jon Denney: 0-2, BB, 2 K
Jordon Austin: 1-4, 2 K
