In three of his last four games, Rubby has walked as many or more batters than he's struck out. In the other? Two walks, seven strikeouts. All throughout, though, hits and runs are at a premium. This is also the first time he's finished the fifth.

Just one hit the day after breaking a lengthy hitting streak, but if Bogaerts' line has dipped just barely under the .300/.400/.500 mark, it's not hard to imagine he'll be back there shortly.

How quickly Barnes will be back is not so clear, but this performance is, at least, better than his last, particularly when it comes to all those strikeouts. He has 64 in 53 innings now.
