It's been a while since we've doubled up, but here we go...
6/7
Portland L 3-12
Xander Bogaerts: 0-4, BB, K
Michael Almanzar: 1-5, 2B
Travis Shaw: 1-2, 2 BB, SB
Christian Vazquez: 1-2, BB
Greenville W 10-5 (In 7)
Mookie Betts: 2-4, 2B
Cody Koback: 1-3, K
Francellis Montas: 4 IP, 8 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 2 BB, 4 K, 1 HR
6/8
Pawtucket L 3-4
Will Middlebrooks: 0-3, BB, K
Ryan Lavarnway: 1-2, BB
Bryce Brentz: 1-2, BB
Jeremy Hazelbaker: 0-4, K
Brock Holt: 0-4
Rubby De La Rosa: 5 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 1 K
In three of his last four games, Rubby has walked as many or more batters than he's struck out. In the other? Two walks, seven strikeouts. All throughout, though, hits and runs are at a premium. This is also the first time he's finished the fifth.
Portland L 3-4
Xander Bogaerts: 1-4, K
Michael Almanzar: 1-3, 2B, BB
Travis Shaw: 0-4, 2 K
Kolbrin Vitek: 0-2, BB, K
Christian Vazquez: 0-4, 2 K
Matt Barnes: 4 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 1 BB, 8 K
Just one hit the day after breaking a lengthy hitting streak, but if Bogaerts' line has dipped just barely under the .300/.400/.500 mark, it's not hard to imagine he'll be back there shortly.
How quickly Barnes will be back is not so clear, but this performance is, at least, better than his last, particularly when it comes to all those strikeouts. He has 64 in 53 innings now.
Salem Game 1 L 1-2 (In 7)
Deven Marrero: 1-3
Garin Cecchini: 2-3, K
Keury De La Cruz: 1-3, 2B
Henry Ramos: 0-2, BB
Blake Swihart: 0-3
David Renfroe: 0-2, BB
Salem Game 2 W 5-1 (In 7)
Deven Marrero: 0-4
Keury De La Cruz: 2-4
Henry Ramos: 2-4, 2B, HR, K
David Renfroe: 0-3
Ramos is up to a respectable .254/.343/.414 on the season thanks to a ridiculous June to date which has seen him hit three homers in 24 at bats.
Greenville L 1-5
Mookie Betts: 0-3, 2 BB
Cody Koback: 1-4, 3B, BB, K
Jose Vinicio: 0-4, K
Mookie snaps a seven-game hitting streak which had seen him produce eight hits in his last 17 at bats.
