Red Sox minor lines: Henry Ramos not slowing down

New, comment

Is Henry Ramos just getting hot, or is he breaking out as a Red Sox prospect of note?

Salem W 9-0

Box Score

Deven Marrero: 1-4, BB
Garin Cecchini: 0-2, BB, K
Keury De La Cruz: 1-3, 2B, BB, K
Blake Swihart: 1-5, 2 K
Henry Ramos: 2-3, HR, 2 BB
David Renfroe: 2-4, 2B, K

Henry Owens: 5 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 5 K
Noe Ramirez: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 0 K

Keury is starting to reach his 2012 levels, which were...interesting if unspectacular. It's Ramos who's really on the rise, though, with four homers in seven games.

Also, Henry Owens with a good start, in contrast to most starts by Red Sox pitchers this past week. Hooray!

Greenville Game 1 W 7-3

Box Score

Mookie Betts: 3-5, 2 2B
Cody Koback: 2-3, 2B
Jose Vinicio: 1-4, K

Justin Haley: 7 IP, 5, H, 3 R, 3 ER, 4 BB, 7 K

A continuation of a suspended game from June 5th, for those wondering why they played all nin.

Greenville Game 2 W 1-0 (In 7)

Box Score

Mookie Betts: 0-2, BB, SB
Cody Koback: 1-3, K

Cody Kukuk: 5 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 9 K

That makes 12 stolen bases in 13 attempts for Mookie Betts. Simply has to be in the first round of promotions.
